one change
can trigger the largest and most cost effective ocean
plastic prevention program on the planet.
With diapers now one of the largest contributors to the plastic waste
crisis globally (UNEP), The Greater Good has proven we can change
diapers for good with our compostable diapers & service, stopping
plastic pollution at the source.
27% of

diapers.
SPREP REPORT (2022)

The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, has joined industry veterans
Jason and Kim Graham-Nye, as co-founders of The Greater Good.
Combining her passion for impactful social initiatives, with their
extensive expertise in sustainable innovation and the circular
economy, they aim to eliminate one of the largest contributors to
the plastic waste crisis globally: dirty diapers.
With a focus on the Global South, the Greater Good has proven
their compostable diaper solution in the Pacific Island nation of
Samoa. Working at the village level, diapers are delivered, collected
and composted locally, eliminating plastic waste and creating
nutrient rich soil in just six to eight weeks. No plastic. No pollution.
No waste.

Replacing plastics with compostable materials
eliminates diaper waste entirely. Waste to
resource. Not pollution.
Diapers need to be collected and composted
in order to eliminate their waste. This system
change is designed through a female lens,
putting mothers at the center of both design
and employment.
Nutrient rich compost is created, reducing
dependence on imported synthetic fertilizers,
and rehabilitating soil health.

TO STOP
PLASTIC
POLLUTION
Designing out
waste.
Our diapers are made only with ingredients Mother Nature
is proud to take back. They are proven to compost to
Australian Standard 4454 and create nutrient rich soil,
regenerating natural systems.
By removing plastic, baby’s delicate skin can breath,
creating more comfort & less rash.
- 100 babies in
compostable diapers
eliminates 700kgs of
plastic waste per week
RE-DESIGN
Women at centre of the
circular economy.
The Greater Good collaborates directly with mothers at the village level, to
localise solutions. From how diapers are delivered, collected and composted,
to creating employment designed to bring mothers into the workforce, every
aspect of the project is through the female lens.

GG team of Moata’a
Workshops with mothers in Poutasi
Compostable diapers are delivered and collected through a door to door service at price parity
with existing plastic diapers. Garden waste is gathered by our team and layered in with diapers
in The Greater Good composting boxes. The boxes are low tech, modular and highly effective
in a village setting. Diapers compost in approximately 6 to 8 weeks, creating nutrient rich soil.
Compost is then tested, certified and sold, creating a truly circular solution.

“Necessity is the mother of invention
and a great example is gDiapers truly
compostable baby nappies to
replace planet-polluting ‘disposable’
plastic nappies.”
Christy Turlington-Burns

Counts
“gDiapers not only considers the
environmental impact of their
products, but also how they affect
mothers. The first few months and
years of parenting are especially
vulnerable and need support."
